FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

If this political season is the OK Corral of the American Wild West, votes will carve names on the tombstones of political careers

AZ NOW PAC takes feminist aim, pulling the trigger on General Election votes

9.16.2016 – Today, Kathryn Baumgardner, AZ NOW PAC Coordinator, released the third set of endorsements for the upcoming General Election.

Based on answers to our survey, AZ NOW PAC endorses: Diego Rodriguez – Maricopa County Attorney, Lynné Almy – Phoenix Elementary School District Governing Board, Ericka Nicholes – Roosevelt School Governing Board, Corin Hammond – State Representative LD 11, Michael Muscato – State Senate LD 22, Tonya MacBeth – State Senate LD 15, Barbara McGuire – State Senate LD 8.

NOW’s members and others educated by the AZ NOW PAC endorsement process can rely on the rigorous questions on a broad feminist agenda that includes reproductive rights and justice, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LBGTQIA rights, and constitutional equality. This third round of feminist freedom fighters and up-and-comers listed here supports feminists dedicated to electing a majority of public officials who are committed to the advancement of women’s rights at all levels of political office.

In 1881 women didn’t have the right to vote. Women’s votes will decide the future.

National NOW has endorsed Ann Kirkpatrick for AZ Senate, Raul Grijalva for Congressional District 3, Mikel Weisser for Congressional District 4, Talia Fuentes for Congressional District 5, Ruben Gallego for Congressional District 7 and Kyrsten Sinema for Congressional District 9. These endorsement’s are based on the AZ NOW PAC federal candidate endorsement survey and resulting recommendation.
