Laura Terech

She is currently the AZ State NOW Legislative Liaison, and the Phoenix Chapter President.
Acted as a spokesperson for NOW in the community and at the State Legislature. Identified and tracked local and federal bills relevant to NOW’s core values and subsequently developed action items for group activism. Initiated outreach, education, collaboration with stakeholder groups and the general public.

Anastasia Haley

She is a member of the Tucson NOW Chapter and has a B.A. Gender and Women’s Studies.  She is dedicated to dismantling discrimination.  She is a passionate activist for today’s youth, human rights, and is motivated to forge a positive future for everyone.  With recognized leadership skills, she sets the bar high and achieves success.


Ginny-Lee Richardson

Ginny-Lee has been a member of NOW since the mid-1980s and has held several chapter and state offices in Arizona NOW. She is the past state Finance Coordinator. She is a retired teacher.


Karen Van Hooft

Karen Van Hooft has been a member of NOW since the mid-1980s and has held several chapter and state offices in Arizona NOW in addition to serving five terms on the NOW national board of directors. She is currently state Finance Coordinator and president of the East Valley chapter. In her professional life she is Executive Editor of the Bilingual Press, a highly regarded publisher of U.S. Latinx literature and scholarship housed at ASU-Tempe.

Kristen Pierce

Kristen Pierce (she/her) is a Phoenix native who's dedicated her life and career to service leadership with a combined 20 years experience working in the local nonprofit and public service sectors both as an employee and volunteer. Currently she works for Arizona List as their Director of Outreach in Maricopa County and has started her own coaching and consulting business supporting women in nonprofit leadership. A proud Feminist, she would like to serve as the AZ NOW Legislative Liaison to continue working for good local policy creation in support of women’s rights at all levels of government.

Dianne Post

Currently the AZ NOW Legislative Liaison, also taking minutes for the AZ NOW State Board meetings.  She is a lawyer who has worked tirelessly on behalf of women in all area including ERA, domestic violence, child abuse, employment discrimination and civil rights.

Sheila Ogea

Sheila Ogea joined NOW in 1989 after attending a "March for Women's Lives" rally in Washington DC. She lived in Michigan at the time. She moved to Arizona in 1999 and became active in the local chapter. She is currently serving as the AZ NOW State Policy Spokesperson since 2015.  She is also the PAC Treasurer and the East Valley Chapter treasurer.  She was also a representative on the National NOW Board for two terms.
